FLOATING TOUR UACARI 5 Days / 4 Nights
INTRODUCTION
Located in the protected forest in the world, its main attractions are the great variety of flora and fauna, such as different species of monkeys and other wildlife.
Day 1.- City of origin / Tefé / Mamirauá.
Upon arrival at the airport of Tefé, it will be received by a representative and directed to the 'floating do Areia Branca"where will be the beginning of the trip the Mamirauá reserve. The journey to the reserve is made by boat and about an hour and a half. On the road you can enjoy the sea breeze and the magical scenery, can also enjoy the small boat in the river. They could even see wildlife, such as pink dolphins (Inia geofrensis) at Lake Tefé and tucuxis (Sotalia fluviatilis) and in the Solimões River during the trip to the lodge. Day 2.-Mamiraua.

It will remain there until sunset of the Sun and on your way back you will see black caimans (Melanoschus niger), bats (Rhynchonycteris naso and Noctilio leporinus), birds of the night... During the rainy season (May-July), all paths will be in a canoe rowing small (your guide you will be paddling through the route). On this afternoon, you will go in a canoe in Mamiraua, a Lake within the area of total conservation of the reserve. During the tour of the Lake is likely to have memorable encounters with pink dolphins (Inia geofrensis), Hoatzin (Opistochomus hoazin) and perhaps fish Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas). Day 4.-Mamiraua.
Breakfast will be served about 6:30 or 7:00en that begin the activities. There will be another road, on foot or by canoe, on the scene chosen to observe nature. If you prefer that you can practise traditional fishing fish of piranhas. This activity is a means of survival of local communities and is transferred from generation to generation. In the afternoon you have option to accompany the researcher team and participate in their field work and complement the technical information offered last night. Or if you prefer, you can go to another tour on the fauna, travel through the system of channels, lakes and landscapes that make up part of the ecosystem of Varzea. After dinner prepare to make a tour of night (on foot or in small canoe) with possibilities of seeing the nocturnal fauna such as the tarantula spiders, opossum (Didelphis marsupialis and Philander opossum), two-toed sloth (Choloepus didactylus) and three-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus), Amazon bamboo rat (Dactylomys rat), bats (Rhynchonycteris naso and Noctilio leporinus) , etc.. Day 5.-Mamiraua / Tefé / city of Origin
Today you will find yourself more accustomed to the forest, if you are not tired and want to leave early, you may see more wildlife such as monkeys, squirrel (Saimiri sciureus and Saimiri vanzolinii), uakaris (Cacajao calvus calvus), capuchin monkeys (Cebus paella) and howler (Alouatta seniculus), three-toed sloths (Bradypus variegates), Hoatzin (Opistochomus hoazin), etc..
